Color and light adjustments

The first photo i took the one of my daughter's head above the pile of hay, selected an area around her head and heightened the brightness and contrast to pull out a more clearer image of her and ended up double framing her in the process.

This was originally a black an white image i attempted to use for color scheme photo's. Used my quick select tool and clicked on what was originally white, then selected the inverse. I opened my channel mixer and played with the red, green, blue, and contrast levels to get a photo that would have been usable for the color scheme assignment.

Landscape

The top two were in succession. My wife pulled the car over on our way home from shopping and said there's a shot for ya (refering to the top picture). After taking a couple of the shots of the top one i turned and decided on the cliff side.

The subject of the pictures (landscapes) in theory in easy, just take a picture of non moving scenery. The problem with a landscape picture is the photographer (What angle? Is this good lighting?, Is this really a good picture? ect.) For landscapes, you are your own worst enemy.

Three pictures in three lights

I was laying on the floor and saw one of my overhead lights and thought 'lighting pictures of light, YES!'

The first one is the overhead light being the only light on with no flash.
The second one is the bulb off with just the flash as a light source.
The third shot is the light off, no flash and a backdrop of filtered sunlight.

Color Schemes

Monochrome: A log my daughter and wife are going to EVENTUALLY turn into a bird house.

Analogous: This is a cut out section of a rainbow my daughter painted a few weeks ago.

Complementary: Green window frame with red curtain.

I got as close as i could to things around my house that would still give me as clear and a detailed a picture as possible. From wall to wall and everything in-between (including the floor) was up for use. As you may be able to tell by the quality this time around i was finally able to find my actual digital camera instead of having to use my camcorder.

Compare and contrast

These two despite the actual quality of them i feel are the best to compare. While both are in a relaxed position the top shows how a loyal is always keeping an eye out and ready to protect, from what? That's up to them.

One object, many views

All of these pictures are not the quality that i like because i am currently on the hunt for my actual camera, i took these with my camcorder.
