You have a bonus in this shot. Not only did you place the tree on the third line now you have a leading line that starts from the lower third on the left and brings your eye over to the tree… Pretty cool. I like the light settings in the centered shot, for you can see more the foliage on the tree. I also like seeing how you chose to zoom in slightly on the second shot.
You can really see, in this shot, how the rule of thirds automatically makes something simple like a tree look more artistic!
