Three pictures in three lights

I was laying on the floor and saw one of my overhead lights and thought 'lighting pictures of light, YES!'

The first one is the overhead light being the only light on with no flash.
The second one is the bulb off with just the flash as a light source.
The third shot is the light off, no flash and a backdrop of filtered sunlight.

    Wow, the first picture is really neat. I love the angle, and the low glow of the bulb. It's very different from a regular picture of a lightbulb, such as the one with the flash.

    I wish I would have thought of this when thinking about different lighting! Very creative subject! I love how the first one came out. It looks like it's floating there, tucked into the shadows of the background.

    This was a really great idea. I love the one of only the light lit, it looks as if the bulb is the only think in the room.

    What a unique thing to take a photograph of! I have to ask, was it difficult? I think the first one is the winner of all of the shots. How you were able to just highlight the bulb, great!
